Stolen Lives Series
1) Stolen Lives, 2) Captured Minds, 3) Hidden Truth
My series is available in multiple formats on Amazon including eBook, paperback, and hardcover. The prices are changed and updated frequently by Amazon, I do not have control over the price once they are published. For the synopsis of these books, please go to my Stolen Lives series page or click on the images for the link to purchase online. I published my latest book in the series is Hidden Truth in October, 2023.
First, I would like to discuss the first thing the readers see, the cover art. I designed my own cover art for Captured Minds and Hidden Truth. For Captured Minds, I drew by hand with coloured pencils on paper, then uploaded an image of it before editing that artwork on the computer. For Hidden Truth, I did a few drafts on paper before going straight into drawing it digitally. It gives a smoother finish for the night sky effect versus the desert landscape of book two. As the main character in the series, Tessa's silhouette is featured on each cover so far in the series.
For book one, Stolen Lives, I had originally drawn the cover art by hand with coloured pencil on paper, as you can see below:

I initially used the above cover to publish my first novel, but now I have these sort of first edition copies that act as character art for my own interest. The past cover has since been changed and updated across all platforms with the new professional cover by BettyMar Design as shown below:
I have been planning and writing this story for a long time, and imagining it as a published work I could hold in my hands for years. Below is some concept art I drew. If you have read the book, you might recognize the first drawing below as a rough version of a scene from the first book. The dragon is a main feature of the first book, so I also included a version of him below on the right.

I hope you enjoy my series so far and are excited for the next one. For now, I will leave you with the above concept art I drew in high school (left) and a few years ago (right) for fun. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope you enjoy the world and characters I have built within the pages.
